What
we do...
The Leemann Group
LLC has expertise in the application of systems thinking to complex organizational
situations. We apply our skills and tools to
create an idealized design in order to deliver business value and
achieve organizational success. Historically, business functions have
solved their problems using analytical thinking. Through the use of systems
thinking, The Leemann Group facilitates business groups through the interactive
planning process to dissolve strategic and tactical problems so the problems
never return.
Accomplishing individual
professional success is driven in large measure by mastering interpersonal,
intrapersonal and cognitive competencies. Particular emphasis has been
placed on identifying the competencies that lead to superior performance
among environmental, health and safety professionals as revealed in our
recently published study.
The Leemann Group's
Outward-In Focus Methodology© allows EHS organizations to
systemically design enterprise-wide IT systems that deliver business value
while enhancing the performance and reducing the costs of the EHS function.
Too often IT systems are installed promising to do anything and everything
but ultimately end up costing too much, delivering very little and creating
career incidents. IT system selection is narrowed through our Industrial
Strength Software Process which ensures the software vendor meets
the desired requirements and is financially viable for the long term.
Sample engagements
led by our principal include:
- An analysis of
alternative EHS software remedies leading to a business case justification
for purchasing and deploying an enterprise-wide system.
- A strategic interactive
planning process for a major manufacturer of industrial fans resulting
in a strategic plan for increasing revenue by 300% over a multi-year
period.
- An analysis of
the insurance industry loss control profession and function, addressing
the value-add contribution of loss control to insurance products.
- A strategic interactive
planning process for a major chemical manufacturer leading to the transformation
of the safety, health and environmental function that delivers business
value and significantly reduces direct and indirect costs.
